The State Labor Service of Ukraine reports the most common mistakes among employers, which were identified during inspections in 2021. Save, it's useful to know!

  • payment of wages is made in violation of the terms, namely later than 7 days after the end of the period for which the payment is made. Almost every second business entity has such a violation;
  • salaries for employees for the entire period of annual leave are paid no later than 3 days before the start of leave;
  • an employment contract concluded for an indefinite period is terminated by the employee in the absence of a written notice from the owner or his authorized body for 2 weeks;
  • in case of dismissal of employees, payment of all amounts due to him from the enterprise, institution, organization shall not be made on the day of dismissal;
  • untimely submission of a notification to the State Tax Service body on hiring an employee;
  • employees do not indicate the rules of internal labor regulations at the enterprise;
  • not to index wages;
  • employees have not been notified for 2 months about a change in significant working conditions;
  • holidays, overtime and night are not paid in accordance with current legislation;
  • vacations are not drawn up at enterprises;
  • work on weekends is carried out without the permission of the elected body of the primary trade union organization;
  • the employer does not provide reliable records of work performed by the employee;
  • the employment book is not issued to the employee on the day of dismissal;
  • unpaid leave is more than 15 calendar days a year;
  • employees work overtime for more than 120 hours a year;
  • temporary incapacity benefit for insured persons working under the terms of an employment contract is not paid as soon as the deadline set for the payment of wages (Law No.1105).

In fact, we understand well how difficult it is not to break all these rules in real life. But we sincerely wish for every business such conditions under which run with the hare and hunt with the hounds.
